Following on from a successful re-plumbing installation, Main-PRO were given the authorisation to proceed with the construction of a new office space for Mitie at Npower’s Ferrybridge PowerStation, extending their already existing office space into the warehouse area.
Our Main-PRO joiners used their wealth of experience and diverse knowledge to carry out a variety of tasks which ranged from the construction of new stud walls, to the installation of a fire door and frame (complete with vision panel).
All electrical works were completed to the legal requirements, using our qualified electricians to fit cat 2 and emergency lights. In addition to this, new skirting trunking was installed throughout, including all data services and switch socket outlets, therefore accommodating for requested additional hot desks.
Here at Main-PRO we take pride in our work, therefore we were eager to give the office a fresh and modern finish; we achieved this by carrying out all the necessary painting, and decorations.
Due to works proceeding in an occupied office space, our primary focus was to minimize the amount of disruption the staff would have to endure. We ensured that all works were planned and carried out strategically, making sure that dust, debris, and noise pollution did not cause disturbances.
As an approved contractor for Mitie Managed Services, it was essential that the required health and safety precautions were implemented. All necessary Risk Assessment and Method Statements were completed, as well as a 40 minute induction that all contractors attended. Due to a brand new suspended ceiling being fitted, our IPAF certificated engineers used a MEWP, again complying with Health and Safety regulations.
Upon the completion of these works, the offices have now been re-opened for the employees, allowing them to enjoy the comfort of their brand new office.
